A Typical Weekday Schedule at Vega

7:00 - 7:30 Morning Tea Preparation
Students participate in making Vega's famous Morning Tea, recommended by Herman and Cornellia for its soothing effects and its strengthening of the digestion.

7:30 - 8:00 Morning Exercise
Students rise 'n' shine with these easy but energizing movement, stretching and breathing exercises. Do-In, Qigong and other invigorating methods are taught. Suitable for all ages. And of course...the famous barefoot walking on Vega's lawn!

8:00 - 9:00 Morning Tea Time with Cornellia
For many students this is one of the most important and memorable times of their course at Vega. An opportunity not available at any other macrobiotic center. Ask questions and get answers in an informal setting with one of the most beloved macrobiotic masters.

9:00 - 11:00 Morning Class
Get ready for fascinating, informative, and clear presentations on a wide variety of macrobiotic topics, including healing theory, nutrition, relationships, finding satisfying work, home remedies, emotional health and more.

11:00 Lunch
A delicious macrobiotic meal prepared with your health and well-being in mind. After lunch enjoy relaxing, taking a walk, shopping in Vega's store, or socializing with classmates.

2:00 - 5:00 Afternoon Class
Take a tour of macrobiotic cuisine in our afternoon cooking classes offered during most courses. There may be afternoon lectures and workshops in some courses.

5:00 Dinner
Another delicious macrobiotic meal made of wholesome natural ingredients.

Evening
Relax with classmates, take a sauna or a famous Vega Salt Bath, study in the Vega library or select from a wide range of macrobiotic videos. Some courses have guest speakers or lectures on various evenings.
