Take advantage
of this opportunity to fully immerse yourself in a personal
macrobiotic practice while assisting macrobiotic master, Cornellia
Aihara, in Vega's kitchen and overall daily operation
- Strengthen your
health through daily macrobiotic meals and physical activity
- Learn at Cornellia
Aihara's side as she performs her mastery of macrobiotic
cooking.
- Participate
in the making of miso, shoyu, umeboshi and pickles with
Cornellia. (The schedule for making these foods is dependent
on the season as well as the right weather conditions. Call
in advance for Vega's projected food processing schedule.)
- Provide service
to Vega through a weekly schedule of helping with the upkeep
of the facilty and grounds.
Those who successfully
complete a three month extended stay will receive a Confirmation of Attendance
letter from Cornellia Aihara. Those who complete a six month extended stay will recieve a certificate of completion from Cornellia Aihara
Three-Month
Extended Stay fee: $900 Six-Month
Extended Stay fee: $1500
A 50% deposit
is due at time of pre-registration. Balance due on the day
of your arrival.
At the end of
the three months you may apply for an additional three months
extension.

Front
Office: Six-Month Resident
Live at Vega for
six months and receive the benefits of daily macrobiotic meals,
personal health development, and macrobiotic support. A resident
who is accepted to be in the front office is committed to
a minimum of 40 hours per week of scheduled service that supports
the front office and other areas of Vega's operation.
