To Vega ...it's easy !
By Air
The closest airport
to The Vega Study Center is the Sacramento International Airport.
If you will need transportation from this airport to Vega,
take the following steps:
1. Make your airline
reservations.
2. Arrange in advance
for round-trip transportation to Vega by calling the Airport
Transportation Service after you've made your airline reservations.
Their number is (530) 891-1219. This is the transportation
service used by the majority of Vega's students. One-way fare
from the airport to Vega is $35, round trip is $60. Advance
payment by credit card is required.
In case your flight
times require other round-trip transportation service to Vega,
you can make arrangements with The Super Shuttle at 1-800-Blue
Van (258-3826) or (530) 557-8370. One-way fare from the airport
to Vega is $65 for one person, $35 for each additional person;
round trip is double the one-way prices. Payment is made to
the driver by cash or credit card.
By Car

By Bus
If you will be
traveling by Greyhound Bus, you will be dropped off in Oroville
some distance from Vega. You will need to call a taxi to bring
you to Vega from the drop-off location. The Yellow Taxi Cab
number is (530) 532-3333. There are other cab companies also.
By Train
Amtrak service
is available by rail to Sacramento and then by Amtrak bus
to Oroville. Taxi service is needed from the Amtrak drop-off
point in Oroville to Vega.
Arrival & Departure
Our standard one-
and two-week courses begin on Sunday with registration from
2:30 - 5:00 pm and end at breakfast on the final Saturday,
with departure from Vega by 10:00 am. If your travel arrangements
necessitate your arriving in Oroville the day before your
course begins or remaining a day after your course ends, we
will be happy assist you with accommodations. Call for more
