Cancer & Healing

One Week To A New Way Of Healthy Living

Join us for our one week residential program specifically focused on the macrobiotic educational needs of individuals who are recovering from cancer.

Participants receive warm and individualized attention from Cornellia, macrobiotic cooking lessons, grounding in macrobiotic principles of health and well-being, plus fascinating presentations of macrobiotics.

Cancer & Healing Course Highlights:

  • Macrobiotic healing diet
  • Exercise for health and well-being
  • Macrobiotic healing philosophy
  • Home remedies
  • How to meet your personal needs
  • An educational experience

You will learn the most important information regarding nutrition and cooking as it applies to the healing process. The use and misuse of protein, sugar and fat will be discussed. Cooking classes will present a full spectrum of macrobiotic recipes and cooking techniques. Menu planning will also be taught and plenty of time allowed for questions and clarification of instructions.

Along with the rejuvenating experience of being at Vega and eating strengthening macrobiotic food, you will be assisted in creating a plan of action to carry out after you leave. Included in this will be planning menus that work at home, communicating with family, friends and health professionals, and making lifestyle adjustments.

Our lectures are designed to demystify macrobiotics and help you clearly grasp the principles and reasons behind macrobiotic healing theory. Presented in terms that are easy to understand and implement, Vega's macrobiotic philosophy of health will inspire and support you.
